The Monthly Accounts of the Union Government of India up to July 2026 have been consolidated. The Government has received Rs 13,06,709 crore, or 35.8% of the budgeted total receipts for 2026-27. This includes Rs 8,44,560 crore from tax revenue, Rs 4,23,013 crore from non-tax revenue, and Rs 39,136 crore from non-debt capital receipts. Rs 3,72,354 crore has been transferred to State Governments, which is Rs 56,190 crore less than last year. The total expenditure by the Government is Rs 17,61,853 crore, with Rs 13,11,218 crore on revenue and Rs 4,50,635 crore on capital. Interest payments account for Rs 4,26,566 crore, while major subsidies total Rs 1,53,513 crore.
