Commerce Minister urges US manufacturers to deepen their presence

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has encouraged American manufacturers to investigate prospects for expanding their operations in India and participating in advanced manufacturing ventures to establish robust supply chains. Goyal’s remarks were delivered at a business roundtable hosted by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) during the G20 Trade Ministerial meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday evening.
