Market participants are monitoring the potential for an extension of the existing trade détente, presently scheduled to conclude in November. US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer indicated that a consensus has not been achieved, although Washington may endorse a prolongation of three to six months.
PetroChina demonstrated resilience, advancing 1.12%, while China Shenhua Energy registered a gain of 1.52%, and Hygon Information Technology ascended 3.88%. Conversely, Zhongji Innolight retreated 1.41% and Suzhou TFC Optical Communication decreased 1.22%.
