Cheviot Company Limited anticipates Rs 7.45 crore sales increase from revised jute bag prices

Cheviot Company Limited announced that the Office of the Jute Commissioner has revised the maximum ex-factory prices of 580 gms B-Twill Sacking Type-A & Type–B Jute bags supplied to State Procurement Agencies, effective from notifications published on August 18 and 19, 2026, under the Jute and Jute Textiles Control Order, 2016. The company estimates this price revision will increase sales realization by Rs 7.45 crores for Government B-Twill Bags, exceeding the threshold requiring disclosure under SEBI’s Listing Regulations. Existing terms and conditions of supply contracts remain unchanged, and the orders/contracts were originally executed between September 2016 and December 2020.
